150th Anniversary Campaign:
Goal $594.350 Million
The 150th Anniversary Campaign is a comprehensive effort that will significantly strengthen Bard's endowment, provide much-needed funds for capital projects, and support the annual operating budget for the four years of the campaign.
The largest and most ambitious fund-raising campaign in the history of Bard College—the 150th Anniversary Campaign—was launched during Commencement and Alumni/ae Weekend in May 2010. At the ceremonies that year, President Leon Botstein announced a campaign goal of $594,350,000 to sustain Bard's leadership as a liberal arts institution. To date $381,575,454 (64% towards our goal) has been raised, primarily from College trustees and volunteer leaders, including $872,462 to endow scholarships from the Board of Governors of the Bard–St. Stephen's Alumni/ae Association. Gifts to all areas of the College—capital projects, endowment, and inrestricted Annual funds—are counted towards the overall goal.
