If you are a member of the LGBTQ community and believe you have been a victim of intimate partner violence and/or sexual assault, you are not alone.

Bard Campus Clubs:

  • Queer Straight Alliance (QSA):
A safe space for queer, questioning, or allied students. We work closely with the Transaction Initiative and are involved in both political and networking activities. Straight but not narrow allies are always welcome! Club Officers: Jasper Katz, Dan Pitts
  • Trans Action Initiative:
We are an affinity group that works to create a safe space for all students to explore gender. Some of our goals include strengthening community among gender variant students and allies; creating more gender-neutral spaces on campus (specifically housing and bathrooms); educating students, faculty, and administrators about transgender issues; and actively lobbying for trans-friendly policies on campus and in a larger political sphere. We meet Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Red Room in the Campus Center. Everyone is welcome. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or just stuff you want to talk about.
