Junior Fellowship

Actual experience is invaluable in helping students to discover whether they enjoy working in a particular field and what is needed to succeed in it. The Junior Fellowship Program, sponsored by The Bard Center, offers qualified Bard students the opportunity to explore potential career fields. The program offers at least five juniors a stipend of up to $2,000 each to finance a summer career internship. Fellowships are awarded on the basis of student proposals and need (including the receipt of any outside funding). Recent fellowships have allowed students to test the waters of a career in social work, anthropology, music, journalism, business, and science in many parts of this country and abroad.
