Biography:B.A., Bennington College. Director, Aileen Passloff and Company (1958–68). Choreographed and acted in plays for the Living Theatre, Judson Poets Theatre, Theatre for the New City. Appeared in Obie-winning productions of Gertrude Stein’s What Happened, Ruth Krause’s A Beautiful Day, and Maria Irene Fornes’s Washing and Diary of Evelyn Brown. Choreography includes The Song of Songs, Fountain Theater (2003); Encounters, Berkshire Theatre Festival; Tree of Life, New England Dinosaur; Hopes and Fears and Brahms Variations, Toby Armour Repertory Company. Taught at Conservatory of Dance, Madrid, a one-week intensive workshop in performance for professional dancers (2004). Grants: National Endowment for the Arts; Program for Cultural Cooperation between Spanish Ministry of Culture and U.S. Universities; Fulbright Postdoctoral Research Scholar. At Bard since 1993.
