B.A., Carleton College; M.Sc., Ph.D., University of Chicago. Taught at University of Maryland, Swarthmore College, Villanova University, University of Chicago. Postdoctoral Fellow, National Institutes of Health Neuroethology Training Program, University of Maryland; Century Graduate Fellow, University of Chicago. Numerous publications, presentations, and professional activities related to evolutionary genetics. At Bard since 2007.

Research Interests: evolution; sexual selection and mate discrimination; meiotic drive and selfish genes; animal behavior; population and quantitative genetics
Teaching Interests: evolution; animal behavior; biostatistics; insect biology; model organisms
