B.A., Sarah Lawrence; M.A., New York University. Awards: Silver Medal for poetry, ForeWord magazine. Poetry collection, Soft Box (CavanKerry Press, 2004). Author of numerous works of fiction and nonfiction for young adults, including The Conspiracy of the Secret Nine, finalist for 1996 Heekin Award. (2000– ) Visiting Assistant Professor of the Humanities.
