Biography:

Vocalist and vocal teacher. Studied at Gymnasium Altdorf, Abschluss Abitur (1976–1985); Hochschule f�r Musik und Darstellende Kunst, Hamburg (1985–91); and with Thomas LoMonaco, New York. Has taught at Quickborner Musikschule, Musikschule der Stadt Pinneberg, Theatre Opera Music Institute, Lee Strasberg Institute. Has sung the roles of Elvira (Don Giovanni), Amelia (Un Ballo in Maschera), and Amneris (Aida) with Amato Opera, and the Composer in Ariadne with Brandenburg Opera; has also performed in choral works by Bach, Mozart, Pergolesi, and Handel. At Bard since 2008.
