Biography:
Actor, writer, and choreographer. Received training at the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance, New York; Prague Center for Continuing Education, Czech Republic; and with Kun Young Lin and Rachel Lampert. Commissioned feature-length works have been performed at the New Museum, Performance Space 122, Danspace Project, the Kitchen, and Dixon Place in New York City; and at the Contemporary Arts Museum of Houston and Théâtre de Vanves in Vanves, France, among others. Shorter commissioned works at the Juilliard School, LaMaMa Experimental Theatre Club, Dance Theater Workshop, and New Museum, all in New York City. Honors, grants, and residencies from the Jerome Foundation, Abrons Art Center, and Dance Theater Workshop. Acting credits include
Strangers with Candy (Comedy Central); Christopher Durang’s
Betty’s Summer Vacation; and numerous other film, television, and theater projects. His work has been written about in the
New York Times, Financial Times, New Yorker, Artforum, Modern Painters, Boston Globe, and
Dance Magazine. Previously taught at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. At Bard: Spring 2013.
