B.S., University of Texas at Austin; Ph.D., Teachers College, Columbia University. Has previously taught at Mount Saint Mary College; Marist College; Hunter College; and Teachers College, Columbia University. Recent publications include “Adolescent Reasoning,” in Encyclopedia of Adolescence; “Developing Collaborative Citizens through Game Play,” in Designing Games for Ethics: Models, Technique, and Frameworks; and “Arguing on the Computer: A Microgenetic Study of Developing Argument Skills in a Computer-Supported Environment," in Child Development. At Bard since 2013.

Teaching Interests: Developmental psychology; psychology of learning and motivation; psychological statistics; cognitive psychology; early adolescent development; social psychology; group dynamics
