Biography: Diploma with excellence, Hochschule für bildende Künste, Braunschweig, Germany. Master printer in etching and photogravure. Artist in residence at MacDowell Colony (1996, 1997, 2002), Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (1999), Anderson Ranch Arts Center (1996). Numerous international solo and group exhibitions. Taught at Columbia University (2002–02) and Lacoste School of the Arts, France; teaches regular workshops at colleges and arts organizations across the United States. (1999– ) Visiting Associate Professor of Studio Arts.

Research Interests: Photogravure; Other "alternative" photographic print techniques.; Print collaborations with artists
Teaching Interests: Printmaking (intaglio); Combinations of printmaking, photo, digital media, book, and sculpture.

2008-03-29 — Performance
"Piranesi" a stop motion animation with music by Elizabeth Brown was performed at Issue Project Room in Brooklyn, March 28th and 29th.
"Piranesi" is celebrating the artistic process in a tribute to the 18th century printmaker and architect Giovanni Battista Piranesi.
