Gideon Lester is professor of theater and performance and director of the Theater and Performance Program at Bard College. A London native, he received his B.A. from Oxford University, where he studied English literature, and completed his graduate training in dramaturgy at Harvard University, where he was a Fulbright and Frank Knox Scholar.
