Faculty: Erica Lindsay

Erica Lindsay

Musician and composer Erica Lindsay is an artist in residence at Bard College. She received her B.A. from New York University and has been on the faculty since 2001. Lindsay plays the tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone, and flute. She has played at prominent jazz festivals in Europe, Asia, and the United States, and in major venues including Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Sweet Basil's, The Bottom Line, Merkin Hall, and the Knitting Factory. Lindsay has composed and arranged for Hamburg Radio Big Band, Unique Munich Saxophone Choir, and Melba Liston & Co.

Bard on the Road

Each fall, members of the Bard admission staff travel around the world to meet with high school students and college counselors to discuss our unique programs in the liberal arts and sciences. While our travel schedules are usually quite busy, we will do our best to accommodate your request to meet. Please keep in mind that interviews are not required and are only granted after an application has been submitted.

Fall travel schedules are posted in the late summer and early fall. Please check back then to see when a Bard representative will be in your area.
