Acclaimed Romanian émigré writer Norman Manea is the Francis Flournoy Professor in European Studies and Culture and writer in residence at Bard College. He has been a member of the Bard faculty since 1989 and is the author of 22 volumes of fiction and essays.
Each fall, members of the Bard admission staff travel around the world to meet with high school students and college counselors to discuss our unique programs in the liberal arts and sciences. While our travel schedules are usually quite busy, we will do our best to accommodate your request to meet. Please keep in mind that interviews are not required and are only granted after an application has been submitted.
Fall travel schedules are posted in the late summer and early fall. Please check back then to see when a Bard representative will be in your area.
