Current Student Employment Opportunities

STUDENT EMPLOYMENT POSTINGS HAVE MOVED

Dear Bard College Students:

We are pleased to announce that the Student Employment Office and the Career Development Office are working collaboratively on posting all student employment, internships and volunteer opportunities using College Central Network Services (www.collegecentral.com/bard).  This collaboration will allow you to search for jobs on and off campus at the same time and also build and post your resume online.

Student Employment on the Financial Aid page is now linked to the College Central Network Services site.

If not already registered on College Central, students seeking employment will need to do so.

To search for jobs, go to:

http://www.collegecentral.com/bard/ and:

ü       Click on “Student”

ü       For first-time users, click “Register Now”

o        Your Access ID is your Student ID. Your temporary password is “Bard”

ü       For previous registrants, click “Log in at Student Central.” You can retrieve your Access ID and/or password if you have forgotten them.

ü       Click “Search for Opportunities Posted to My School.”

ü       Under “Job Location” select “On-Campus” then “Begin Search”

ü       Click any job ID number that interests you and follow instructions under “Application Instructions”

If you have any questions regarding navigating College Central, please email cdo@bard.edu, call 845-758-7539, or drop by the Career Development Office, Campus Center, 201.

Questions regarding financial aid should be directed to finaid@bard.edu. All other on-campus student employment questions, new hire paperwork, requirements for foreign national student employees and direct deposit should be directed to seo@bard.edu.

All students must meet with Micki Strawinski in the Student Employment prior to starting or returning to on-campus positions to be sure all required documents are on file. If you have questions regarding Student Employment Policies and Procedures please email seo@bard.edu, call 845-758-7469 or drop by the Student Employment Office, Physical Plant, 2nd floor, between the hours of 10 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Sincerely,

Micki Strawinski, Student Employment Office
