| Q: | I know that you "need" to have three to four years of science, but are you ineligible to apply if you have only two. The science department is not exceptional at my school, so even though I think science is cool, I am not impressed with them at my high school, and only took two years of science. |

| Q: | I have a question regarding the common application. If I use that in place of the Bard application, am I allowed to complete one of the five essay choices on it (rather than the one specified in the Bard application)? I know that the second question on the Bard Application is required. |

| Q: | My daughter is planning to major in theater with a goal of becoming an actress. She is very impressed with Bard's performing arts program, but academically isn't in the range of Bard's acceptance. Are theater majors really required to have as strong a background in science and math as other students? She has a 3.5 GPA and 1230 SAT. Please be frank if she would be wasting her time. |

| Q: | I am very interested in the immediate decision plan. How will students be evaluated in this plan? Will the decision of their acceptance or refusal be based on their participation in the class they take at Bard? I was told that the class was just for students to see what a Bard class is like, if this is so, I don't see how this is different from a regular decision plan. I am very confused. |
