Q:The supplement for Bard on the Common Application website has a choice of essays. One of them is a graded assignment from junior or senior year. Would Bard prefer that I send in the actual paper with the teacher's comments and grade on it or should I just upload the document to the Common App website?
A:Do not send the original paper; photocopy it and send the copy via regular mail to the Admission Office. If you upload the paper itself to the Common App website, we won't get your teacher's written comments on your work. Since the Common App can't be sent electronically until you put something in the supplemental essay field, simply write that you are sending a graded paper under separate cover.
