Questions and Answers

Q:Hello! I am planning on graduating high school a semester early for an outside of school educational experience. However, I was wondering which classes I should take while I still have the opportunities and for how many years should I take them. Thanks!
A:The Bard admission committee expects applicants to pursue a strong course of study offered by their high school, including honors or advanced level courses if available. We recommend that such a program should include a full 4 year sequence in English, social studies, and mathematics; study of at least one foreign language for three or preferably four years; and three to four years of study in the laboratory sciences. The Admission Committee is interested in the entire high school record, with junior and senior year courses and results being especially important.
