The Hannah Arendt Collection website from Stevenson Library at Bard College represents a continuing dedication to preserving, cataloging and documenting items from Hannah Arendt’s personal library (acquired by Bard College in 1976). By making this unique collection more accessible through the application of digital technologies, we expect to become active partners in the community of Arendt scholars and students.

Thinking in Dark Times: The Legacy of Hannah Arendt
Hannah Arendt would have celebrated her 100th birthday on October 14, 2006. To mark the occasion, Bard College hosted an international conference entitled "Thinking in Dark Times: The Legacy of Hannah Arendt."
