Intramural Sports

A number of intramural sports are offered, with emphasis on participation and fun. Intramural programs include basketball, floor hockey, bowling, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, softball, golf, badminton, and squash. Tournaments and events in squash, basketball, table tennis, and aquatics are popular. All Bard intramural teams compete as part of the National Intercollegiate Recreational Sports Association.

The mission of the intramural program is to develop sportsmanship and camaraderie through participation in sport. The positive interaction with other students that occurs on the playing fields fosters friendships, develops teamwork concepts, and enables participants to maintain physical fitness. All sports and events place an emphasis on fun and participation.
