Spring 2012 Costs and Financial Aid
Costs for BRSS are largely covered by regular tuition at Bard College. The cost of housing in New York City is somewhat higher than the cost of housing in Annandale, as reflected in the breakdown below. | Spring 2013 Program | | Tuition: | $22,088.00 | | Housing (double room)*: | $5,600 | | Optional Health Insurance**: | $595.00 | | Student Activity Fee: | $170.00 | | Technology Fee: | $75.00 | | Student ID: | $5.00 | | Total | $28,533 | *Single rooms, which are limited, are available at an additional $800/semester. **Students are billed for a 12-month health insurance plan, which may be waived, as well as a mandatory Health Services Fee, $226 (school year 12-13). International students (F-1 and J-1) cannot waive the health insurance. Students are encouraged to check with the Financial Aid office at Bard College to determine what portion of the financial aid they currently receive will transfer to BRSS.
