IT Services
At Bard Information Technology Services (BITS) our mission is to be an active partner in the intellectual work of Bard's students, faculty, and staff. We strive to develop collections, services, and partnerships that help all users become more resourceful, more independent, and more original scholars. We take a campus leadership role in thoughtfully applying emerging media to the task of turning information into knowledge.
Facilities
The Henderson Computer Resources Center (HCRC) and the adjacent Henderson Technology Laboratories are the hub of academic computing at Bard, housing the largest concentration of computers on campus. The facilities include computer classrooms and public-user labs; specialized multimedia facilities; file, print, and Web servers; and an extensive software library. Around campus there are specialized computing labs and classrooms as well as public computing spaces.
Helpdesk
The Helpdesk provides technical, hardware, and software support for all Bard-owned computers, including network and e-mail issues, password recovery, and printing assistance.
