Bard College Conservatory of Music Graduate Programs

http://www.bard.edu/conservatory/vocalarts/

In 2006, the Conservatory began the Graduate Vocal Arts Program, which leads to the M.Music degree in vocal performance. Up to eight students per year are enrolled in a two-year curriculum that was designed by soprano Dawn Upshaw, who is artistic director of the program.

The Graduate Piano Fellowships of the Bard College Conservatory are awarded to Piano Fellows chosen in national auditions. Fellows spend two years being mentored in weekly group sessions and working with the Conservatory’s undergraduate and graduate students in master classes, lessons, and recitals. They receive room, board, and an annual stipend.

In addition to its summer programs, The Conductors Institute offers a 15-month curriculum (two consecutive summer institutes and the intervening academic year) leading to the M.F.A. degree in conducting.
