The Visitor Talks – Eduardo Padilha

September 28, 2016 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
CCS Bard, Classroom 102

Eduardo Padilha works with found materials and reassembled them to reflect the urban experience where private and public domain intersect. The appropriation, deployment, and dislocation of the object are the points of departure as a search for new modes of signification.

Since 2006, Padilha has run BalinHouseProjects (BHP), a non-profit, artist-run space in London SE1. BHP provides a space for exhibitions, dialogues and a platform for networking with other artist-run spaces and initiatives.

This talk is given as part of the lecture series : The Visitor Talks – We are the Center for Curatorial Studies : The Department of Events (The Discursive Core)
