Usual
curated by Mayumi Hirano
Usual is about the poetics of the ordinary. The artists David George, Alvin Lucier, Rivane Neuenschwander, Gabriel Orozco, and Orit Raff explore surreptitious, mundane details of daily life with a sense of curiosity and playfulness. Through various media, they rediscover the everyday as a flow of unrepeatable moments that allows nothing to remain usual.
