Chen Tamir (2007) is an independent curator and arts writer based in New York, Toronto, and Tel-Aviv. She is also the Program & Operations Manager at Artis, a nonprofit that supports and promotes contemporary visual artists from Israel. Previously, she served as the Executive Director of Flux Factory, a non-profit arts center in Queens, NY. Chen’s most recent exhibition Emotional Blackmail, was co-curated with fellow CCS alum Markús Andrésson at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery.
