Ruba Katrib (2007) is curator of SculptureCenter. Previously, she was the Associate Curator the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, Florida. She curated a variety of exhibitions at MOCA, including the first US museum surveys of Cory Arcangel, Cory Arcangel: The Sharper Image (2010) and of Claire Fontaine,Claire Fontaine: Economies (2010). She also curated group exhibitions such as Modify, as needed (2011), The Reach of Realism (2009-2010), The Possibility of an Island (2008-2009). In May 2011 she organized New Methods, a three-day symposium at MOCA that focused on the practices of eight contemporary arts organizations that provide education for working artists throughout Latin America. She received a Curatorial Fellowship from the Andy Warhol Foundation for travel-based research for the symposium. In 2003, Katrib co-founded a non- profit artist residency program in Chicago called ThreeWalls.
