About Bard CEP
M.S. in Environmental Policy
The program leading to a master of science in environmental policy provides future leaders with the knowledge and tools to create effective solutions to today's critical environmental challenges. Requirements of the two-year program include a year of interdisciplinary coursework, a 4-6 month internship, and a master's thesis.

M.S. in Climate Science and Policy
The program leading to the master of science degree in climate science and policy (CSP) focuses on climate science, specializing in the interactions between climate change, ecosystems and agriculture. The CSP degree is a two-year program, which includes a required internship and a master’s thesis.

The 3+2 Program
*** Bard students must petition for permission to enter the 3-2 program in lieu of the senior year by submitting a written request to the dean of studies. Students will be expected to:
- Have earned 64 credits in the undergraduate college in Annandale.
- Have met all distribution requirements.
- Have successfully moderated into a program of study and met all program requirements (except Senior Project) or else have written approval from adviser and program director to waive requirements and satisfy them in graduate program.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Have two faculty recommendations, one of which must be from the student's academic adviser, and the recommendation of the undergraduate faculty liaison.
