I would love to see any test results you are able to share on the toxicity of the corrosion-inhibitor/biocide microbes that your company is producing! I am visiting a few “green chemistry” labs in October that are in the process of producing similar environmentally-safe products to replace the more risky biocides, corrosion inhibitors, gelling agents, friction reducers, etc. I agree with your statement–the horse is already out of the barn, and now it’s time to make sure that companies are using the best technologies available and are regulated in such a way to limit any impact to public health and the environment. Hopefully your company’s product will help to do so!

You should contact the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), if you don’t already plan to do so, once the toxicity results are in; we are always looking for new and better technologies. Let me know if you’re interested, I can set something up…

Also your U.S. map is great! Would you mind if I showed it to the NG team at the EDF?
