Clean Air Act Climate Primer: Bill Snape Weds Noon

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Over 7,000 events globally on 10/10/10!  Hats off to Bill McKibben and his incredible team at 350.org.  Thank you to everyone who participated.

As grassroots climate organizing reboots towards a goal of new US climate legislation, global warming pollution control using the 40-year-old Clean Air Act has gotten underway. This Wednesday at noon eastern, Bill Snape, Senior Counsel at the Center for Biological Diversity will give us a look inside the EPA’s toolbox.

Call-In: 712-432-3100, Conference Code: 253385

How does the Clean Air Act work? What different routes can the EPA use to regulate pollution? Can EPA action cut US  pollution, and if so, by how much? Join us for this important half hour discussion.

C2C continues planning for a series of campus-to-corporation conversations later this fall. Stay tuned.

Next up on The National Climate Seminar: Penn State Climate Scientist Michael Mann. Later in the term: Juliet Schor and Time Magazine reporter Bryan Walsh.

Thanks for the work you are doing.
