Our students come from a variety of academic disciplines, and they bring to Bard a passion about their future role as environmental leaders. Although each class is diverse in both background and interests, all students share a common purpose - to understand the complexity of environmental problems, and work towards finding viable and sustainable solutions to tomorrow's environmental challenges.

Eban Goodstein, Director of the Bard Center for Environmental Policy (Annandale- on-Hudson, New York), and his class of master’s students, interview sustainability consultant and author Alan AtKisson on his view of what makes a change agent successful and why things are “getting worse and worse and better and better faster and faster.” The interview appears in the June 2011 issue of Sustainability: The Journal of Record.
