Cate Owren has ten years' experience in international sustainable development, specializing in nexus of women's rights and environmental sustainability, especially relating to climate change She has traveled, lived or worked in more than 25 countries. With both policy analysis and advocacy expertise, Cate's key interests include women's rights; women's organizing, networking, political participation and leadership; civil society participation and access in global policy; intergovernmental processes; human rights and gender equality; international sustainable development policy, particularly climate change and biodiversity; and UN processes and programmes. < Program Website >
