Bill Mckibben, 350.org Climate Citizens
Bill McKibben is an environmentalist, writer, and the co-founder of 350.org, an international climate campaign. A scholar-in-residence at Middlebury College, McKibben is the author of The End of Nature, the first book for a general audience on climate change.
This October 24, 350.org is organizing the 350 International Day of Climate Action, with thousands of events planned at iconic places around the world. Bill frequently writes about global warming, alternative energy, and the risks associated with human genetic engineering. Beginning in the summer of 2006, he let the organization of the largest demonstrations against global warming in American history.
