Jordan M Kincaid and Adam Briggle recently published an article entitled "The Ideology of Fracking" in Science Progress. Jordan M. Kincaid is a Master of Science '13 candidate at the Bard Center for Environmental Policy, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s Philosophy and Government departments, and a Visiting Fellow at the University of North Texas’ Center for the Study of Interdiscplinarity working on the Future of Energy Project. His current research examines the political and ideological dimensions of hydraulic fracturing for natural gas, particularly studying gas drilling policy in Denton, TX, located atop the Barnett Shale. Part of this research, which will go into his Master’s thesis for Bard CEP, involves a survey of beliefs about fracking, which all are invited to take. The article is available on the Bard Eco Reader
