Second Year CEP student Melissa Provinsal writes "Students Apply Technique to Green Problems" in the Poughkeepsie Journal

Melissa Provinsal is a second-year student at the Bard Center for Environmental Policy. She is employed with the new Bard MBA in sustainability to assist with the Sustainable Business Series in New York City.
"On Feb. 17 and 18, second-year master’s students from the Bard Center for Environmental Policy took part in the Pyramid 2012 challenge, a global effort to utilize the ISIS Academy method of systems thinking and problem solving to reach sustainable solutions that address nature, the economy, society and individual well-being.
The two-day workshop took the group through a set of tools that can easily be applied to all kinds of problem-solving we might encounter in the future."

Meet Our Faculty
Gautam Sethi teaches environmental and natural resource economics at Bard CEP. His research includes institutional mechanisms to improve water quality in Oaxaca, Mexico, and the impact of wind farms on residential property values in the U.S.

Monique Segarra, assistant professor of politics, teaches environmental policy analysis and climate politics. Her research focuses on the intersection of natural resource management, climate change, and human rights in the global south and the politics of water reform in Oaxaca, Mexico.
