Lindsey Shute '07 talks about the next generation of farmers and the importance of serving the next generation of farmers effectively
Hudson Valley Bard Center for Environmental Policy alumna, Lindsey Shute '07, participated in a recent Tedx Manhattan talk titled "Changing the Way We Eat". As Executive Director of the National Young Farmers' Coalition, Lindsey talks about farming as a career path, which, once on the decline in the U.S., is now popular among young farmers - and how important it is for us to support them. She and her husband Ben run Hearty Roots Community Farm in Clermont, NY.
