Ann Calamai ‘12 is a contractor with EPA’s O ce of Research and Development. She acts as the Special Assistant to the Research Coordinator for the EPA's Study of the Potential Impacts of Hydraulic Fracturing on Drinking Water Resources.
Bartek Starodaj ‘12
Bartek Starodaj ‘12 is working for the German Marshall Fund of the United States as a Program Assistant in the Department of Urban and Regional Policy. Bartek completed his Bard CEP graduate internship at the German Marshall Fund and did his master’s thesis work on ‘Shrinking Cities’ and the prospective role of regional governance in city planning.
Brandy Chambers '12
Brandy Chambers ‘12 was hired in September in the New Hampshire O ce of Energy & Planning as an Energy Analyst. Brandy did her internship at the Bipartisan Policy Center in Washington, DC.
Jessica LeClair ‘12
Jessica LeClair ‘12 now works for Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection with the Bureau of Energy and Technology Policy. Jess will be working on the state’s climate change mitigation goals and processes. She is excited to put her MS degree to use by examining the mitigation side of climate change e orts. Jess is among the rst group of students to graduate from Bard CEP with an MS in Climate Science and Policy.
Keith McHugh '12
Keith McHugh ‘12 is now living in Middleboro, Massachusetts working for Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. as a Sustainability Analyst. Keith works directly with plant operations to identify, track, and measure progress against sustainability targets in the areas of water, energy and climate, waste, and packaging, and to determine the most appropriate measures to help reduce their inputs.
Rachel Savain ‘12
Rachel Savain ‘12 has started her new job as Policy Advisor for VNG International in Haiti, a Dutch NGO focused on municipal infrastructure and capacity building. Her focus area within VNG is waste management policy. Rachel interned for this organization during her grduate studies at Bard and did her master’s thesis work on integrating informal recyclers into solid-waste management in Haiti through public-private partnerships.
