Accommodations Near Bard
Please book your accommodations as soon as possible. The Hudson Valley area attracts hordes of tourists and, as a result, housing can be quite expensive depending on the season. The number of available accommodations on the east side of the Hudson River in and around Bard College during the weekend of the conference is very tight and limited, since the period also coincides with the annual Sheep and Wool Festival held in the nearby village of Rhinebeck. Accommodations are just slightly more in the city of Kingston on the west bank of the river, but these too are expected to become unavailable as autumn—the tourist season draws near.
Please review the list of local hotels, motels, and inns below and then complete the Accommodations Questionnaire:
For the conference, we have managed to reserve rooms at the places listed below. These will be given out on a 'first come, first serve' basis. Please note that all the rooms are "Non-Smoking".
