Second Annual Bard Percussion Ensemble Spring Concert
Friday, April 12, 2013 | | Fisher Center, Sosnoff Theater Sō Percussion and the Bard College Conservatory of Music Percussion Program present their second annual spring concert at the Fisher Center. Sō Percussion will perform with Conservatory students in a program that includes recent masterworks, new music for percussion groups, and works by composers from the Bard community. Featuring Paul Lansky's Threads, a 10 movement/30 minute work for percussion quartet and music by Steve Reich and Lou Harrison. The program will also include a piece co-composed by Josh Quillen and Jason Treuting of Sō, performed bySō Percussion, Bard percussionists, additional bard college musicians and the audience.
