B.A., Yale University; M.M, Yale School of Music. Awards include top prizes at the Rostropovich International Violoncello Competition (2001) and the XII International Tchaikovsky Competition (2002), and an Avery Fisher Career Grant (1996). Has performed as soloist with the Abilene Philharmonic, Erie Symphony, Houston Symphony, Russian State Academic Symphony Cappella, others. Festival appearances include Caramoor, Marlboro, Music from Angel Fire, Ravinia, Sarasota. Former member, Lincoln Center’s Chamber Music Society Two.
