Sujin Kwon


Sue Kwon enjoys an active career as violin and viola instructor, and has worked with students of all ages and levels, from very young children, to students enrolled at the nation's leading music schools and conservatories. She has done a broad range of teaching in the New York City area at a variety of schools like The Juilliard School, Port Jefferson Music Academy and New York University, and has served as teaching assistant to Jeffrey Irvine and the renowned ENCORE School for Strings. Sue is currently on faculty at the Music Conservatory of Westchester in White Plains, New York, the Thurnauer School of Music in Tenafly, New Jersey, and the Pre-college Division at Bard College, and also has a large studio of private students from all over the Greater New York City area. A graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, and New England Conservatory, Sue is currently pursuing a doctorate at the Manhattan School of Music.
