Tuition and Fees per Semester

The Preparatory Program’s mission is to offer well-rounded music education for each child.  To ensure an enriching and comprehensive learning experience, lessons are matched with a class in musicianship.

Bard Preparatory Division is divided into 4 age groups with optional classes available:

•    Mini-PeeWee (ages 1-4)
•    PeeWee (ages 5-8)
•    Junior (ages 9-13)
•    Senior (ages 14-18)
•    Optional Classes (ages 5-18)

Application Fee $30
Please note: Application fee is waived for returning students and siblings of current students.

Fall Semester
     13 Saturdays, September 10- December 17 (except October 8 and November 26)
         Music and Movement classes will begin on September 17.

Spring Semester
     13 Saturdays, February 4 – May 19 (except February 18, March 31, and April 7)

Please note: Students enrolled in the PEEWEE, JUNIOR, and SENIOR Divisions may     add Chorus for discounted rate of $185

Course Cancellation: Bard reserves the right to cancel classes at any time. Students enrolled in a class canceled by Bard will receive a full refund. Notification will be sent by email or phone.

Registration, including full-semester payment and application fee, is due by September 1 for the fall semester and by January 9 for the spring semester.

Refund Policy: A full refund will be made for withdrawal before the start of classes.
A refund of 80 percent will be made for withdrawal before the second Saturday of each semester.
No refund will be made after the second Saturday of the semester.
