János Sutyák '12

János is originally from Balmazujvaros, Hungary. He has attended both the Colorado College and Pacific Music Festivals, as well as music festivals and wind orchestras in 18 European countries.  In Fall 2009 he will perform the David Concerto with the Bard Conservatory Orchestra. 

In addition to his trombone playing, János is a serious nature photographer, having won several national competitions in his native Hungary. This year he is a finalist in the Hungarian National Geographic Photo Contest. 

He studies with John Rojak.
