When school is in session, a free shuttle service is available on campus, to Red Hook, and to Tivoli, from early morning through late evening, seven days a week. In addition, shuttles are also available to the Hudson Valley Mall on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Once a semester we have a trip to Woodbury Commons. Transportation is also available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to and from the Poughkeepsie (Metro­North) and Rhinecliff (Amtrak) railroad stations. “Special” train shuttles are available for opening of school, Thanksgiving break, winter intersession, spring break, and school closing. In addition, Bard also offers shuttles to JFK/LaGuardia and Albany airports at the beginning of the aforementioned breaks. Unless otherwise specified, all trips leave from the Kline parking lot. Scheduling information is available for all of the above shuttles at An e­mail will be sent to all students one month prior to school breaks in order to provide updated transportation information.
