Part-time Assistant Director/College Counseling InstructorThe Bard Early Colleges offer an authentic and supportive liberal arts college experience for ambitious public high school juniors and seniors. Bard currently seeks a part-time assistant director/college counseling instructor (approximately 15 hours per week) to assist with day-to-day operations of a new instructional site in Poughkeepsie, NY. The position would report to the executive director and be responsible for such operations as grade reporting; communication with high school counselors, principals, school transportation directors, and parents/guardians; and student advising. In addition, the assistant director would teach a one-day-per-week course on the college application process and serve as a counselor to students in their college planning. Master’s degree and teaching certification preferred; bachelor’s degree with significant experience with adolescents and/or higher education considered.
