Chemistry - Assistant Professor, Visiting Position
We are inviting applications for a two-year visiting position in any area of chemistry at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in the fall semester of 2013. The chemistry program has recently moved to a new facility and is eager to utilize it to its full potential. Requirements include a PhD in any area of chemistry, a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts setting (prior teaching experience preferred), evidence of an ongoing program of research activity including research suitable for undergraduates (post-doctoral experience preferred), and an interest in working closely with faculty members across the sciences on issues of research and curriculum development. The successful candidate will teach courses, oversee advanced tutorials, and supervise student research during the academic year and summer.
