Bard College is seeking a Recruiter for our program on Globalization and International Affairs and the Levy Economics Institute’s Master of Science Program. Reporting to the Director of the Levy MS in Economic Theory & Policy, the Recruiter will be responsible for:

  • Managing the recruitment for the both the undergraduate Bard Globalization and International Affairs program and the graduate Levy M.S. in Economic Theory and Policy, including strategy, demographic research, advertising and campus and career fair visits.
  • Collecting applications, responding to graduate inquiries, following up for completion.
  • Assisting in the daily activities of the office including counseling students and parents, responding to phone inquiries and talking to prospective students.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of the Levy M.S. in Economic Theory and Policy.

The successful applicant must be willing and available to travel throughout the recruiting seasons, and to work non-traditional hours as required. Experience with admission and application software (such as iModules and Intelliworks) is a plus, but willingness to learn and manage such programs is essential. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Economics or related field and 1-2 years of experience in a higher education setting is preferred, with recruiting experience, particularly graduate recruiting highly desirable.
