(Prospective students may submit these forms electronically to email@example.com
If the parents of the applicant are divorced or separated, the noncustodial parent will be expected to complete the Noncustodial Parent's PROFILE after the student has completed the CSS PROFILE. This form is typically required when an applicant files for financial aid for the first time.
Approximately 30 to 40 percent of those filing the FAFSA are selected by the federal processor to be verified; the Verification Worksheet must be submitted to confirm the size of the family's household and the number of students in college on at least a half-time basis. In addition, income must be verified for parent and student. The IRS Data Retrieval Tool on the FAFSA or the IRS Tax Return Transcipt are acceptable forms of income verification. When a financial aid offer is made, the documents required for submission will be noted in the student's award letter.
