Job Responsibilities: Bard Environmental Resources Department (BERD) seeks hands-on field assistant to perform weekend composting activities, as well as serve as the Compost Commando Alternate when one of the team members is unavailable during the weeks. Other responsibilities may include materials movement.

Special Qualifications: Reliable self starter - love of the great outdoors, including an ability to tolerate the weather in all its forms, and the smell and sight of flies on food waste. A NYS Defensive Driving Course will be offered in September to meet this requirement.
