Other responsibilities may include materials movement. Two 2-hour shifts - Saturday and Sunday (four hours total). An additional 3 hours available for when you are the Commando Alternate (rare). Job Description: Start date: Monday, July 7, 2008

Wage: $9 per hour, 35 hours per week, for a total of approximately $2,500
o Staff the HEOP office from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a 1 hour lunch break, Monday through Friday
o Answer phones and greet visitorso Assist the director with communication with current and incoming students, including mailings, emails, and phone conversations
o Assist the director with preparing for the HEOP Summer program
o Support the 1st year HEOP students and PC’s during the HEOP Summer program and during the Language and Thinking program
o Help clean up and organize the HEOP rooms
o General clerical duties as needed, such as filing and data entry

Work with a not-for-profit and help reduce car travel - assist the MetroPool, Inc. Regional manager for Dutchess County in the promotion of NuRide on campus. NuRide is the free internet-based ridesharing system where you can earn rewards for every trip! Duties will include distribution of flyers, set-up of information kiosks, staffing of information tables at special promotion events, and registration assistance.
