Study Abroad/Study Away
Bard's global outlook starts on campus, where the students come from nearly 50 countries many on scholarships. International Students make up approximately 14 percent of the student body, contribute important insights, fully participate in the life of the College, and often initiate projects that bring a fresh, different perspective to the academic dialogue. Almost every region of the world is represented on Bard's faculty–Nigeria, France, Brazil, Russia, China, Greece, to name just a few. Bard's global offerings–internships, study abroad programs, virtual classrooms, research projects or opportunities, and collaborations with other institutions–extend to every program in the College's liberal arts curriculum.
