Panel in the Museum: Commission as Assignment

Artists are asked with increasing frequency to produce new work on commission in response to very specific parameters. On May 11th, in conjunction with the third and final opening of Second Thoughts, a panel of leading curators and scholars will discuss "commission as assignment" during the third and final re-opening of Second Thoughts. Panel participants include Anne Ellegood, Lia Gangitano, Dave McKenzie, and Michael Portnoy.
