Visiting the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts

The best time to visit and get a feel for the M.F.A. program is while the summer session is in progress. We also hold information sessions and campus tours on specific days during the fall, as listed below.

Friday, December 4, 2009:
Info Session/Tour of Arts Facilities

2-4pm
Starting at Fisher Studio Arts gallery

Bard College campus, Annandale on Hudson, NY

At 2pm we will start with a brief introduction to the program and give participants the opportunity to ask questions of MFA staff and students. The tour will follow and feature the three main art buildings on campus: Fisher Studio Arts, Woods Photography building, and the Avery Arts Center for Film and Music.

We will offer a shuttle from the Rhinecliff Amtrak train station to campus. Shuttle space is very limited; advance reservations are necessary. To register, email mfa@bard.edu or call 845-758-7481 and indicate your name, discipline of interest, email address, mobile phone number and whether you need a space on the shuttle. A confirmation with additional details and travel directions/shuttle info will be emailed following your registration.
